A celebration of all things geek! It's our third Hawaii Geek Meet, an outdoor, family-friendly, casual and open potluck picnic!

We mean "geek" in a most inclusive, positive way. Do you like technology? Do you have a specialty? Among your friends or coworkers, are you the guru, the go-to person for things that blink or have moving parts? Whether you're passionate about programming, photography, design, HAM radio, model rockets, painting, teaching... we want to meet you.

For specific and focused local groups, the Hawaii Geek Meet is a great excuse to see old friends and catch up on the latest tips and trends. But at the same time, the idea of Hawaii Geek Meet is to mix and mingle with other brilliant people, people you might never meet in your own circles, but people with whom we'd bet you'd get along smashingly.

We'll be convening at Magic Island, Picnic Area #40:

hawaii: Changed hashtag to #geekmeet3, added link to map with precise coordinates (the map Twtvite adds is inexact). Thanks!

Richfuel: The map here on Twtvite might be causing some confusion re: location. Can we be clearer about where that pointer points? Pic. Area #40.
