The Sapling Project #Sapling is happening on 26th Jan 2010 near Lalbaug North Gate, Bangalore. We will give a sapling each to a person. Each one takes it back and plants a sapling in the vicinity of their residence or a convenient location and takes care of the sapling for 2 years. Each plant’s care and development needs to be tweeted at regular intervals (at least thrice a week).
Kindly be there by 11:00hrs on Tuesday, 26 Jan 2010.

Why : Because we love the planet, its the only one we have. Don’t you want your children/grand-children to breathe in clean air ?
How to be a part of it: You can plant a sapling, Sponsor a sapling or both. Get in touch with us.
Cost : Nil, Plants would be given free, If you want to sponsor the Plant (Neem or Ashoka) – 40 bucks per sapling
Publicize : Would love if you could also be part of this movement, spread the word with your friends, RT a bit, Fwd some sms and mails.

Commitment : Take care of your sapling for atleast two years. Post that, trees can take care of themselves
Why not save trees ?
When we say ‘Save Trees’; we are trying to seek out help/action from someone else to save the trees.
When say lets plant trees, we are giving commitment and willing to work on our own.
