Join the ePharma Summit and Pixels & Pills at the Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers on Monday, February 7th for the Pixels & Pills ePharma Summit Tweetup & Phone Drive. We’re kicking off the ePharma Summit right, by teaming up with the folks at Medic Mobile to collect your old, defunct cell phones for their Hope Phones initiative. Here’s more information on how you will be making a difference by donating your old phone: “Every cell phone given to community health workers connects distant patients to a medical clinic. A $10 cell phone will give 50 families access to emergency medical care, health information, transport services, and clinic resources." Even better: you can win an iPad by participating in the drive! Simply tape your business card (we’ll have a roll of tape on hand at the event as well) to the back of your phone before placing it in the donation box. At the end of the cocktail reception, we’ll draw a random phone from the box, and the donor will win a brand-new iPad! Also, the first 50 attendees to donate a phone to the drive will receive a special secret gift from Pixels & Pills! REFRESHMENTS: Premium Open Bar
