Join Cisco executives, customers and industry leaders for a live TweetChat on Wednesday, June 26 at 12 pm ET around the future of smart cities and how the Internet of Everything (IoE) is making this a reality! Follow #SmartCityIoE
Cities are going through major shifts around the world such as, aging, shrinking and hyper growth population, exponential population growth in emerging countries, the growing economic power of developing nations and the urbanization of the world’s population. In order for these shifts to happen successfully, cities must take advantage of the Internet of Everything – where everything is connected, to help address the issues faced by new and existing towns, villages, cities, and countries around the world.
But how can cities and countries embrace this new way of connectivity? Cisco’s Anil Menon, President, Smart+Connected Communities/Chief Globalisation Officer; Jim Grubb, VP, Emerging Technologies & Chief Demonstration Officer; Thad Seymour, President, Lake Nona Institute and Tom Murcott, EVP and CMO, Gale International will discuss in this 30 minute session how cities are already making this profound shift and how through connecting every aspect of a city, community or even entire country, amazing things can happen. Well-known journalist, urbanist and author, Greg Lindsay, will moderate the conversation.
