Tips for confidently managing your money matters as a busy mom.

Like most mothers, you probably face a continuous balancing act as you struggle to juggle the needs of your family, your job, and of course, yourself, at home or in the workplace.

Whether it's the money struggles you've coped with in the past, your current daily task of managing a household on a budget, or the financial concerns you have for your future - saving for your retirement, paying for your children's college, starting your own business, or planning for your dream vacation - there are steps you can take to face your daily financial challenges successfully.

Join us as we discuss all this and more with our friends at the national non-profit, Mothers & More, a 501-c-3 organization which supports, educates and advocates for mothers, and emphasizes the value of a mother's work, whether paid or unpaid. Mothers & More accomplishes this through:

• Creating a network of chapters and online networking forums by and for mothers encompassing non-judgmental communication and peer support.
• Offering webinars that offer members exposure to authors, and financial and workplace tools and tactics, that support the organization's mission.
• Advocating for public policies that value the work of caregiving.

At the party, you can also find out more about Mother & More's Power of a Purse (POP) campaign, during which members and chapters donate purses and personal items to financially disadvantaged women through shelters and other non-profit organizations just in time for Mothers Day. A purse symbolizes a woman's economic power and many families rely on a mother's income. Mothers & More also provides educational resources to help women increase their financial awareness, confidence and control.

We'll also find out about Mother & More's writing contest running in celebration of Power of a Purse that is open to members and non-members. In 300 words or less, the contest welcomes passages about how the POP mission resonates on a "purse-onal" level. Mothers & More will publish the top 5 stories on their blog "Mothers' Voices" and winners receive a one-year membership to Mothers & More. In addition, the top member winner will be published on Brain, Child magazine's website.

If you're a mom looking to increase your financial savvy this is the twitter party for you!

In addition, we'll be giving away amazing prizes every 10 minutes including memberships and membership renewals, books, tickets to the Listen to Your Mother show, a virtual work-out session, a bag from Layla Grayce, and more. Also, as a thank you to all party participants, we will provide a code during the party that will be good for a $5 discount on a new Mothers & More membership, which can be redeemed through April 31st.

"See" you soon!
